This is a free, browser-based image cropper. Drag a crop box over any JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF, lock it to an aspect ratio or enter exact pixels, and download the cropped result. Nothing is uploaded; your image never leaves your device.
Pick the shape that matches where the picture will be used:
| Ratio | Shape | Typically used for |
|---|---|---|
| 1:1 | Square | Profile pictures, square social posts, thumbnails |
| 4:5 | Slightly tall | Portrait-style social posts |
| 4:3 | Classic photo | Standard camera photos, presentations |
| 3:2 | Wider photo | DSLR photos and common print sizes |
| 16:9 | Widescreen | Video thumbnails, slides, banners |
| 9:16 | Tall | Vertical video covers and story-style formats |
Add your image, drag the crop box and its handles over the part you want to keep, then click Crop image and download the result. It all happens in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

Yes. Type the X and Y position and the width and height in pixels, measured from the top-left corner of the image. Cropping keeps the original pixels; it doesn't resize the picture.
PNG output is lossless. JPG and WebP output is saved again at the quality you choose, which defaults to 92% and is hard to tell apart from the original.
Yes. The cropped file is created fresh in your browser, so camera details and location data stored in the original are not copied into it.
PNG and WebP keep transparency. JPG can't store it, so transparent areas are filled with white.
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP work in every modern browser.
