How to convert PDF to PowerPoint
You don't need PowerPoint or Acrobat to do this. Each PDF page becomes one slide, in the same order, in a standard PPTX file.
-
Add your PDF
Drag a PDF onto the converter above, or tap Choose file to pick one from your computer or phone.
-
Set slide options
Choose the pages to include, the slide size and the image quality. Leave Add page text on to fill the speaker notes.
-
Download the PowerPoint
Click Convert to PowerPoint. Thumbnails of the slides appear, and the PPTX saves to your downloads folder.
Present PDFs as slides
Lecture handouts, reports, brochures and exported Canva or Keynote decks often arrive as PDFs. As a PowerPoint file, they can be presented full screen, rearranged, trimmed and dropped into your own deck.
- Private by design
- Pitch decks and internal reports stay confidential. Pages are drawn and packaged into slides locally, not on a server.
- Pixel-perfect pages
- Fonts, charts and layouts look exactly as they do in the PDF, because each slide carries a sharp picture of the page.
- Text in the notes
- The words on every page are copied into its speaker notes, ready to read while presenting or to paste into new text boxes.
- Right size for your deck
- Keep the PDF's own shape, or fit pages onto 16:9 or 4:3 slides so they sit neatly beside your other slides.
Choosing the right settings
The defaults suit most files. Change them when you're adding pages to an existing presentation or need to keep the file small enough to email.

PDF to PPT questions
Is this PDF to PPT converter free?
Yes. It's completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.
Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is read and turned into slides inside your browser, so your file never leaves your device.
Can I edit the text on the slides?
Each slide shows the PDF page as a sharp image, so it looks exactly like the original. The page text is copied into the speaker notes, where you can copy it into new text boxes in PowerPoint. You can also add your own text, shapes and animations on top of any slide.
Will the slides open in Google Slides and Keynote?
Yes. The PPTX file opens in Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, Apple Keynote and LibreOffice Impress.
Which slide size should I choose?
Match PDF pages gives slides the same shape as your PDF, with no borders. Choose Widescreen 16:9 to add the pages to a modern presentation, or Standard 4:3 for older projectors.
Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
Remove the password first with the Unlock PDF tool, then convert the unlocked copy here.
